Our first evening meeting on Wednesday, October 11, at Wood Hall in Orindawoods was a hit -- with about 70 Rotarians (some from as far away as Antioch) in attendance! Spouses and other guests from Lamorinda Rotary Clubs, as well as the Assistant District Governor came to help us celebrate our first nighttime gathering. Mojitos and Cuba Libres were the signature cocktails served and Leslie Maisler did a fabulous Cuba-themed appetizer buffet. Russ Aubrey regaled us with tales of his adventures in Cuba and all had a wonderful time. If this one was any indication of interest, we will definitely be having more evening sessions!
