Acting quickly in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and in support of those on the front lines of treating the virus, Orinda Rotary members raised $5,000 to deliver much-needed washable and reusable medical gowns for staff serving at local hospitals. With an additional $1,000 from the Orinda Rotary Endowment, we delivered over 500 gowns. As a supplemental benefit, gowns were sewn by a local tailor, helping to keep his shop going during the economic downturn. ORINDA ROTARY FUNDS MEDICAL GOWNS FOR LOCAL HOSPITALS
